Nanu -- Good gawd! That was a dark one... on such a sunny day. Don't mess with the Ninja's Wife! Very good. Nice job flipping that image completely upside down.

Lurking

Hidden beneath her wide brimmed hat, book in hand, though not a page turned for the past twenty minutes, she sat in wait.

Her advanced years earned her an immediate position of trust with the unsuspecting mothers. None would realize until it was much too late, that she had laid in wait for the perfect moment to lure their children to their brutal death.

Nanu -- CONGRATULATIONS on the new Reel Ninja Baby!!! The sequel! ;-) Surely, Baby Ninja will inspire some new ideas.

Bill -- Nice to see you back. Funny one. I love imagining the submarine sitting out there under that beautiful tranquil sea. Hollywood sign under the sand there is funny too.

Friar -- Ewwwaaaah! ...but that's a good one. Glad you are liking these. You are good at it.

Jan -- I am glad a woman came on scene here to contrast the two masculine takes on the image. Thanks. Lovely story idea.

All your story ideas went to unexpected places -- really good!

Hey, I haven't given up on these... I think they're fantastic... but with a new baby in the house my internet time is limited... and creativity, as it strikes me, is often a well drawn out event. Hopefully I'll have some time this week to throw my hat in.

- Gift

- A mother is desperate to send a message out to sea, so that her and her young son will be rescued.

- A mother and young son stranded on a remote desolate island send out to sea, a message in a bottle pleading to be rescued....25 yrs. later, a fishing boat rescues them. The now 28 yr. old son Josiah, begins to have dreams telling him that he is "the chosen one", and soon discovers the island has somehow given him healing powers to cure all known diseases and injuries. Josiah then decides to go to Afghanistan to use his gift to heal and cure the injured war soldiers. The one soldier he is unable to heal or save, is his own father! In his grief, he journey's back to the island that gave him this gift, to find out why. Where will his journey take him, and will he find the answers he's searching for from the island or from island inhabitants, and will he still have--or even want his healing powers, once he leaves the island?
