Natalie — Thanks for your input! Yes, probably a lot of excellent actors go without much recognition because they transform and become their characters, instead of being that famous hot actor playing a part, so people don’t notice them.

I agree with these choices, and I like all of these actors. I would personally like to add Joseph Gordon-Levitt to this list. He has a couple decades of experience under his belt, but he only recently appeared on the radar with “Inception.” However, I think his best performance was in “Mysterious Skin,” which came out years before. He has said himself that he admires those actors who can transform themselves when playing various roles, and I believe that in every role he has played, he has done just that. He belongs in all of these categories because of his superb performances in every movie he has made. (I am writing this from an aspiring 15-year-old screenwriter’s point of view, by the way.)
